Discipline Priest (PVP)
Premier PvP healer built around efficiency, survivability, and control.
Gear & Stats
Discipline Priest PvP gearing is about surviving the swap and controlling the pace of the match. You are a high-value target with no mobility, so Resilience and Stamina come first. Once you can reliably live through stuns and pressure, stack Bonus Healing and mana stats so you can outlast enemy cooldowns and win through dispels, Mana Burn, and relentless stabilization.

Stat Priority
Resilience → Stamina → Bonus Healing → Intellect → Spirit / MP5 → Spell Hit Resilience and Stamina prevent deaths in swap windows. Bonus Healing improves your ability to stabilize through pressure. Intellect and regen stats keep you functional in long dispel-heavy games. Spell Hit is optional and mainly helps consistency on Mana Burn and Psychic Scream.
Stat Breakdown
Resilience — Mandatory
Your most important defensive stat. It reduces burst potential from crit-heavy classes and makes you significantly harder to kill in coordinated stun + swap windows. If you’re dying fast, the fix is almost always more resilience.
Stamina — Live the Swap
Discipline wins by staying alive long enough to stabilize. Stamina increases your effective health pool so you can survive stuns, silence pressure, and short CC chains while still getting shields, Prayer of Mending, and Pain Suppression value.
Bonus Healing — Stabilization Power
Once you’re not getting deleted instantly, +healing becomes your best stat. It increases the value of your entire kit—shields, Renew, Flash Heal, and Binding Heal—letting you recover teammates faster and keep the game under control.
Intellect — Mana Longevity
Intellect increases your mana pool, which matters because Discipline burns mana through dispels, Mana Burn, and emergency heals. In long games where you can’t drink safely, a larger pool is often the difference between winning and slowly bleeding out.
Spirit / MP5 — Sustain in Dispel Wars
Regeneration stats aren’t flashy, but they decide extended matches. PvP gear has limited Spirit, yet any regen you do have helps you keep casting during relentless purge/dispel pressure when resets aren’t available.
Spell Hit — Utility Consistency
You don’t need PvE-style hit caps, but a small amount can improve reliability on key win-condition spells like Mana Burn and Psychic Scream. Treat it as a luxury stat after survivability and throughput are handled.
