Arms Warrior (PVP)
PvP-first spec with Mortal Strike utility
Gear & Stats
Warriors are naturally durable thanks to plate armor, but PvP gearing still heavily values Resilience. Resilience reduces damage taken over time and reduces both the chance and damage of critical strikes—this is especially important into spell-based burst (like Mages), where armor provides no protection. In general, Warriors want as much Resilience as possible without sacrificing too much damage, since Arms wins many matches through sustained pressure and attrition with Mortal Strike kept up on the kill target.

Stat Priority
Hit (to ~5%) → Resilience + Crit (as high as possible) → Attack Power / Strength → Stamina. Resilience is extremely valuable, but avoid dropping too much damage—your goal is to maintain kill pressure while being hard to burst down.
Why Resilience Matters
Resilience reduces incoming crit pressure and helps smooth DoT damage over time. This matters a lot in matchups where you can be punished by burst windows, especially against Mages where armor does nothing against spells and guaranteed crit effects exist. Resilience is your main tool to reduce that spike damage.
Attrition & Uptime
With Mortal Strike active on the kill target, enemy healers are forced into inefficient healing. Over longer games, this often becomes a mana war—your job is to maintain uptime, keep pressure consistent, and let the healing reduction win the resource battle.
